Introduction (in English) - NEW SISTERHOOD BLOG!

"Where you go I go, What you say I say, What you pray I pray..." 

This blog was created out the idea to "Flourish Baby Flourish" - the theme of the Color Conference 2012.

After this conference, we felt a strong desire to build up and encourage our sisters in Christ in our home church (Hillsong Paris).

We realized that despite the fact that there are more than 1,200 members at our church,each woman has their own story to tell and their own experience to share. And although women can feel a bit lost in a huge church because of its size at times, this should not deter us from seeking help from those we love and who love us...

In the book of Ephesians, Paul encourages us to "let everything [we] say be good and helpful, so that [our] words will be an encouragement to those who hear them..."

As sisters in Christ, we are called to support, encourage, and lift up one another. We do so by telling our story, encouraging other sisters who may be going through hard times, and seeking the heart of our Father God.

 

IT IS FOR THESE VERY REASONS WHY WE CREATED THIS BLOG - TO INVITE WOMEN AT OUR CHURCH TO SHARE HOW GOD IS ALIVE AND WORKING IN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES - TO INVITE WOMEN TO DRAW CLOSE TO THE FATHER HEART OF GOD.

This blog is structured as weekly devotionals centered around specific themes for Christian women. It is written BY WOMEN FOR WOMEN. 

It is filled with bible verses, music to inspire you, and testimonies to remind you of GOD'S UNCHANGING PRESENCE AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR YOU.

"Delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." (Ps. 37:4)

This blog can be read by theme, or as a weekly devotional to keep you centered on God throughout your daily activities. We really encourage you to participate and share your stories to help build up a community of Godly women striving for excellency. This blog is not only a way to get to know women in the church you may not have the occassion to meet, but it is also a resource for those of you who are going through a hard time and need guidance/encouragment in a certain areas of your life.

IF YOU HAVE A STORY TO SHARE, WE WANT TO HEAR IT!

To those who wish to publish a 'praise report' (story of how God provided), you simply need to find the blog entry/theme that corresponds to your story and comment! Simple as that. Please try and post your praise report in English and/or in French. You also have the option of leaving your email or phone number, so that if another woman in church is going through a similar situation, she has the possibility of contacting you to speak with you about your experience. Please note that you ARE NOT required to leave any personal information. This is purely optional.

 

Ladies, let us UNITE together as One Sisterhood and praise God for who HE IS and what HE HAS DONE. We may be living in a large city, but Christ LOVES each one of us, and longs for us to draw close to Him! "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6)
